She’s been completely stripped back and thoughtfully reimagined into a dreamy glamping stay that blends retro charm with cosy comforts.

Mabel is more than just a van—she’s a vintage dream turned bougie glamping hideaway, complete with her very own private outdoor retreat. Every corner of Mabel’s setup is designed to help you unwind, unplug and reconnect—whether that’s with nature, your favourite book or simply yourself.

    Mabel is a beautifully restored 1974 vintage van, transformed into a cosy, retro-inspired glamping space.

    Everything you need for a nature-filled escape—without sacrificing the cosy touches that make it feel like home.

  • As part of your stay, you’ll have the option to share the grounds with our three alpacas and three sheep. They’re gentle, curious and always up for a snack!

    ✳ You can feed them and spend time with them during the day

    ✳ At night, they toddle back to their little house for a peaceful sleep

    ✳ The whole site is securely fenced, so if you’d prefer not to have them nearby, just let us know—it’s totally up to you!

Wood-fired Sauna

Our wood-fired sauna is a cosy, calming escape tucked into nature. As the fire warms the space, gentle heat fills the air, helping you slow down and switch off.The stunning sauna seats up to 4 people and comes with a full glass front panel and tinted bay window, allowing you to soak up the view. it’s the perfect place to relax, reset and let the outside world melt away.

Camp Fire Nights

Here at Run of the Mill Glamping, the crackle of wood and the warmth of the fire create the perfect backdrop for storytelling, laughter and connection. As the sun sets, guests can gather around the fire with cosy blankets, toasting marshmallows and sipping warm drinks. Think laughter, stories and basking in the glow of the fire at night.

Hot Tub Soaks

Imagine sinking into your own private hot tub surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature and the gentle rustle of leaves. With a starry sky twinkling above, you can unwind in the bubbly sanctuary that awaits just steps from your glamping van. The soothing heat melts away the day’s adventures, while the Welsh surroundings create the perfect backdrop for a blissful soak

During your stay at Run of the Mill Glamping, you'll have the company of our charming alpacas and friendly sheep, enhancing your outdoor escape. As you sip your morning brew or unwind in the peaceful surroundings, these gentle friends will roam nearby. It's an enchanting way to connect with nature and immerse yourself in the tranquil vibe of our bohemian sanctuary.

Good To Know

  • You can book your Mabel escape for:

    – A long weekend: Friday to Monday

    – A midweek break: Monday to Friday

    – A full week: Starting Monday or Friday for 7 days

  • Check-in: From 3:00pm

    Check-out: By 11:00am

    Early check-in and late check-out options are available if the schedule allows—just ask when booking!

  • You’ll have two private parking spaces right near the site.

    From the parking area, access to Mabel involves steps down to the site and steps up to the decking—please note that it’s not fully accessible for wheelchairs or those with limited mobility.

  • Prices start from £200+ per night.

    Bookings will require a non-refundable deposit to secure your dates.

    ✴︎ A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

    ✴︎ The remaining 50% balance is due 14 days before check-in.
